Due to the extreme forces involved
in extruding metal, we use rugged
steel fabrications for major press
components including crossheads,
container housings, butt shears,
and billet loaders. Even where
lighter fabrications will do the job,
such as the component parts in die
changing stations, we make sure
there is plenty of strength built in so
that the units will withstand years of
repetitive cycles.

All welding and stress relieving is
done to AWS Welding Standards
prior to finish machining.
